Diane Travis

Tres Bon Hair and Beauty

Diane Travis has had a life-long passion for making women look beautiful and feel more confident.  Having learned to work with this gift has enabled her to design the life she loves as an owner stylist at Tres Bon Hair and Beauty and an Independent Consultant with Arbonne International. She enjoys teaching others how to earn residual income managing their own home-based business.

Diane loves to do makeovers and offers a complimentary 45 minute beauty consultation in-salon or at her client’s home or business for those who would like to experience Arbonne botanical skincare and cosmetics. She begins with a review of her client’s skincare products and answers any questions they may have followed by a facial and make-up application for day and night. She addresses such skincare concerns as dry hands, sensitive skin and sunspots and offers hair care tips and solutions.

Diane overcame her fear and doubt by hiring a coach, asking questions, listening, goal setting and building her belief daily.  The best advice she was given was to stop trying to force things to happen. Advice she offers to new entrepreneurs is to keep striving to become more successful and happier no matter what and to avoid negative people.

As a SWAN member she has really enjoyed connecting with like-minded women in the community and finding ways to help each other in business and in life.

To find balance, Diane has developed a fitness routine to unwind and meditate and also enjoys Zumba fitness, art and comedy.

Jane Langton

Certified Sexual Health Educator & Consultant

Jane Langton is energetic and delightful, does what she believes in, and can’t imagine doing anything else. A background in health sciences, medical diagnostics and nuclear medicine led Jane to see first hand the effects of disease on sexual health, and how little access there was to quality sexual health information, especially for over- 40’s. Jane returned to school to become a Certified Sexual Health Educator & Consultant. She advocates for access to relevant sexual health education and information across the lifespan; this is her training and her passion.

Jane focuses on all aspects of Sexual Health including vaginal and prostate health, the importance and benefit of intimacy throughout our lives, whether solo or partnered. She creates a comfortable, safe space for people to finally speak candidly about the most intimate and difficult topics.

Jane facilitates programs, workshops and private sessions; she educates and answers questions on many aspects of sexual health and pleasure. She supports those claiming back intimacy. She speaks on incontinence (a silent epidemic), painful intercourse, older dating, STIs.  (Sexually transmitted infections are on the rise in the boomer population.) Jane is exhibition advisor for Adult Sexual Health to the Vancouver Museum in their current exhibit, Sex Talk in the City (on until Sept 2013).

Jane has recently joined a medical practice in central Lonsdale and can be contacted directly for appointments.
