Linda LeQuesne is a distributor for Send Out Cards. She believes in acknowledging the special moments in life. You do the card making on-line and SOC prints and mails your personal message!

Where do you get your best ideas?
From chatting with friends and colleagues.
Where is your favourite hangout?
In my jammies in front of the fire with a good book.
Which talent would you most like to have?
I’d like to be able to speak multiple languages.
What is your greatest extravagance?
Chocolate.
What is your most marked characteristic?
That I never forget a special date and that I’m orgranized.
How do you take your coffee?
I don’t drink coffee.
What’s your preferred method of communication?
Face to Face but in a time crunch email works best.
When and where are you happiest?
Surrounded by family and friends
What is your greatest regret?
Not hiking the West Coast Trail with my brother.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My children.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Become more disciplined about my nutrition.
Which business person do you most admire?
Oprah.
What is your favourite moto?
“People will forget what you said, they’ll forget what you did, but they’ll never forget the way you make them feel.”
What do you like most about what you do?
I like the feelings that are evoked when people get a real card in the mail. I like connecting people in a real way that makes them feel appreciated.

Heather Walker works with coaches who are disorganized.

Where do you get your best ideas?
While running with my two dogs at 6 a.m. (which it always is somewhere in the world!)
Where is your favourite hangout?
I’m a Starbucks snob and something with an outdoor patio
Which talent/skill would you most like to have?
To understand computer/IT code
Which words or phrase do you most overuse?
“I am here for you.”
What is your greatest extravagance?
Networking
What is your most marked characteristic?
My humour
How do you take your coffee?
Rich and sweet.
What’s your preferred method of communication?
Face to Face.
When and where are you happiest?
Monday night with my “Sparks”.
What is your greatest regret?
I listened to my parents and didn’t go to Medical school.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Surviving 4 job losses in 6 years and deciding to start my own company, and my children bragging that I am a very successful business woman.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
That I could learn to say no.
Which business person do you most admire?
No one specifically, but the person who is generous in their knowledge and understands that business is about connecting.
What is your favourite moto?
“The answer’s always no until you ask.”
What do you like most about what you do?
As a business owner you have to learn and you have to seek out those opportunities. I do this and feel I open up the door of many opportunities as I am learning what I want when I want.
